Redefining The Color “Nude”
Leila Quraishi, 21-year-old founder of Nudesox, believes it’s time the word “nude” encompasses all shades of skin color – not just the creamy color we’ve grown up with. The mission of Nudesox is to be inclusive of people of all skin shades, with their visually appealing, minimalistic socks.

Nudesox is an athleisure sock produced in five shades of nude, in five different cuts: Invisible, low, no show tab, ankle, and yoga.

The purpose of Nudesox is to blend in with your skin tone so that your socks do not take away from the “look” of your outfit. Nudesox have a cushioned sole for ultimate comfort.

How Nudesox Began

As a junior in high school Leila considered herself fashion-forward but also believed that comfort should never be compromised for style. It was at this time that she came up with the idea for Nudesox, then spent the next two years developing the brand.

For nearly a year Leila tried to find a manufacturer willing to work with her. Most manufacturers she contacted either did not respond or they did not understand the brand concept.

After a year of calling almost every hosiery manufacturer in the US, Leila finally found her current manufacturer, Profade Apparel.

Profade Apparel and Nudesox

Leila was elated when Zee Field, owner of Profade Apparel, answered her email and expressed an interest in working with her. Zee understood the Nudesox brand concept and believed the brand could be a success. After meeting together, Leila signed on as a Profade Apparel client and started the process of bringing her vision to life.

There is no other brand like Nudesox on the market, which is why strengthening the brand is a priority, as well as marketing it to people who do not even know it exists. Nudesox is the product you never knew you needed – but after trying it, you never want to go without it.
